Public universities’ admission test to be held centrally: UGC

A decision to bring the admission tests from the session 2020-21 of the public universities of Bangladesh under one umbrella has been taken in a meeting of University Grant Commission (UGC) today.
The Chairman of UGC Dr Kazi Shahidullah said: “The decision has been acknowledged by the Vice Chairmen of a total of 12 public universities at their presence. But the VCs of BUET, DU, JU and CU have said that they will notify after discussion in their academic councils.”
He also added: “We see no obstacle to implement the decision. We hope that the necessary steps will be taken into action from the very first week of March this year. UGC will whole-heartedly help the universities in this regard
