Purnima-Ferdous in movie based on Quader’s novel

Bangladeshi sensational actor Purnima Hanif Dilara is set to share the screen with actor Ferdous in a movie, based on novel ‘Gangchil’, written by Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader.

Purnima recently signed a contract while the shooting will start in December this year.

The novel “Gangchil” was published in 2015 Ekushey Book Fair, earned much popularity among the readers and critics.

Confirming the information, Purnima said:”I am returning to the film industry with the movie after a five-year break. Viewers will see me as an NGO activist in the film. Hopefully, the audience will accept me as they did in my previous films.”

The novel “Gangchil” represents the lifestyle of struggling people in a “Char” (island) in Noakhali.

The movie will be directed by Naim Imtiaz Neyamul.
