Ranbir Kapoor once called Deepika Padukone ‘dal chawal’?

ollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor received a huge backlash on social media after he called his wife Alia Bhatt ‘dal chawal with tadka and achaar’ during one of the promotional activities of his upcoming movie Shamshera.

Though the actor did not respond to the trolls yet, he has again been targeted by the netizens for his ‘dal chawal’ remark as according to a video, Ranbir called his co-star and ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone ‘dal chawal’ while promoting Tamasha.

In the video, Ranbir could be spotted describing that working with Deepika feels comfortable as being home with a plate of ‘dal chawal’. When Deepika quipped by saying, “You didn’t clarify with tadka or without tadka”, the Brahmastra actor said, “Main clarify kar rha hun, tadka wadka, daal makkhan, sabke sath. I said that working with Deepika is so comfortable that it feels like going back home to a plate of dal chawal.”

The video has been going viral on social media and people started slamming the actor for tagging both Deepika and Alia as ‘dal chawal’.

One user tweeted, “No one asked him and he had to do this for attention… Same dialogue he said for DP during Tamasha promotions.. Said she is my dal chawal with tadka badka and all.. Alia should be ashamed if she knew this ki he is repeating the same for her..”
