Reform process: Yunus gives directives towards next steps
Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus yesterday gave necessary directives towards next steps on the reform process as the National Consensus Commission reviewed the progress of the ongoing discussions with political parties.
He gave the directives during a meeting with the members of the National Consensus Commission held at the state guest house Jamuna.
The meeting was chaired by the head of the commission Yunus, and a detailed discussion was held on the reform process, said the CA’s press wing.
Commission Vice-Chairman Prof Ali Riaz informed Yunus about the discussions that have already been held with the political parties.
Commission members Dr Badiul Alam Majumder, Dr Iftekharuzzaman, Justice Emdadul Hoque, and Safar Raj Hossain also participated in the meeting.
Law Adviser Asif Nazrul, Industries and Public Works Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan, and Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor Monir Haider were also present.
