Saudi Arabia to celebrate Eid on Friday

Saudi Arabia has issued official confirmation that the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr will fall on April 21, Friday.

On Thursday, the moon-sighting committee in the kingdom announced that April 20 would be the last day of the month of Ramadan and that Eid-ul-Fitr would be celebrated from Friday onwards.

Oman announced on Thursday that the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr would be celebrated on Saturday, April 22.
