SC to launch biometric entry/exit from August 1

All the officials and employees of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court have been asked to appear in the court premises through digital (biometric) system from August 1.

The registrar of the Appellate Division Mohammad Saifur Rahman said that all the entry and exit system will be automated to make the attendance electronic, enhance security and modernize management system, BSS reports.

Fingerprints of all the officers and employees of the Appellate Division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court will be taken from July 18 to July 21 in the Information Technology (IT) branch of the Appellate Division in order to launch the system, the official added.
