Shraddha Kapoor’s character to get a spin-off in Stree 3?

Stree 2 has been winning millions of hearts with its unique storyline and plot. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s horror-comedy has been breaking various records at the box office. The film has become a blockbuster and audiences are pouring love on it. Well, there are reports that state that Shraddha Kapoor’s character in Stree 2 will be getting a standalone movie which will be created by Maddock Films. As viewers who watched Stree 2 had complained about Shraddha’s character having less screentime. The mystery remains and it has kept fans wanting for more. Well, writer Niren Bhatt has now confirmed to Pinkvilla that Shraddha’s character backstory will be explored in future films. Yes, you read that right! Stree 3 in the works; to star Shraddha Kapoor’s character as lead?

In a recent interview with Zoom, Stree 2’s writer Niren Bhatt, spilled beans on the story of Shraddha Kapoor’s character in the future. He said that the entire team is exploring the story of Shraddha Kapoor as Stree’s daughter and that is the main reason why they did not reveal her name in the film. He even stated that there were many plans that were being made for the Maddock supernatural universe. But, he did not share any of the plans regarding Stree 3 and kept fans guessing. Well, the writer expressed that all the characters from their films, including Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya were quite important to them. He said that they are thinking of expanding their stories and he does not know when and in which films but the stories will come. Well, in Stree 2 Shraddha Kapoor’s character is revealed as Stree’s daughter and she tells her name to Rajkummar Rao’s Vicky. But, the same is not disclosed to the viewers. Shraddha’s character mysteriously disappears once again at the end of the film and leaves fans curious. The makers shocked fans by Varun Dhawan as Bhediya and Akshay Kumar as the relative of Sarkata. Sarkata is a headless monster who targets the girls living in the town of Chanderi and everyone is scared of the same.

Stree 2 stars Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi won hearts with their exceptional acting chops. Stree 2, released on August 15, 2024 is directed by Amar Kaushik and is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande.
