Prime Minister’s ICT Advisor Sajeeb Wazed Joy today claimed that former chief justice Surendra Kumar Sinha met privately with war criminal Mir Quasem’s brother Mamun in New York.

“Unfortunately, political conspiracies are all too common in our country,” he added.

Joy, and also the only son of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina made the comments in his verified Facebook page on Sunday (today).

“I have received some disturbing information. Disgraced former chief justice Sinha was in New York recently. There he met privately with war criminal Mir Quasem’s brother Mamun,” he wrote.

He also writes: “Mamun handed Sinha a large amount of cash. He is being paid to make statements against our government. They were spotted doing this and their conversation overheard.”

“Someone unknown is no use in a conspiracy. It takes someone high-up and powerful to make a conspiracy succeed. People such as Sinha and Shahidul Alam.”
