Snowdrop teaser out! Blackpink’s Jisoo looks breathtaking in her ’80s avatar

Blinks have been waiting patiently for Jisoo’s debut and finally, we have something to gush over. JTBC has dropped a teaser for Blackpink member Jisoo’s highly-anticipated K-drama, Snowdrop. The teaser is only a few seconds long but was enough to make waves on the internet. Featuring Jisoo and Jung Hae In, the clip takes us to what it calls “a pure love story that transcends time.”

The drama is set in 1987 with Jisoo and Jung Hae In being students at a prestigious University. The teaser itself shows a few sweet moments between the two including a very charming dance sequence. The clip has been met with a very positive reaction from fans. People are loving their chemistry and since last night ‘Snowdrop coming soon’ has been trending on Twitter.

Fans may be looking forward to Jisoo’s first-ever leading role, but this is not the first time that the Blackpink’s vocalist has graced the screen. She has made several cameos over the years in dramas such as Arthdal Chronicles and The Producers and created quite an impact even then. Jung Hae In, on the other hand, is a seasoned K-drama actor with a lot of successful dramas under his belt. He has acted in dramas such as One Spring Night, Something in the rain and many more.

According to the synopsis released online, the drama will have them play university students Im Soo Ho (Jung Hae In) and Eun Young Cho (Jisoo) and their love story blossoming with Soo Ho suddenly rushing into a female dormitory covered in blood. Eun Young Cho hides him and tends to his wounds despite facing danger under close surveillance.

The drama is also packed with two National Intelligence Service agents and a surgeon who seems to be hiding a secret!
