Sonam Kapoor begins shooting for Zoya Factor after Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga

Sonam Kapoor’s choice in movies has been quite daring and experimentative lately. After earning accolades for Neerja and Padman, she proved that an all-female star cast can also work wonders at the box office with Veere Di Wedding. So surely after a string of good movies to her credit, she would opt for only the best scripts.
The actor has now started shooting for The Zoya Factor. The film is based on a novel by Anuja Chauhan about an ad agency executive, Zoya Singh Solanki, becoming the lucky mascot of the Indian Cricket Team. She stars with Sanjay Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan in the film.
Sonam recently completed Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga, which stars her with father Anil Kapoor while Rajkummar Rao is there as her love interest. Talking about Sonam and Rajkummar’s track in the film, its director had said earlier in an interview to Mumbai Mirror, “Raj is an amazing actor and brought his individuality to the part. Yes, the romance bit was different for him which gives him a new graph to play with.”
Ek Ladki Ko Dekha toh Aisa Laga is directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar and produced by Vinod Chopra Films.
