Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer out: Tom Holland fights multiverse villains in new film [VIDEO]

Following its leak over the weekend, Sony Pictures has officially released the teaser trailer of the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home. This is the third Spider-Man movie to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

As per the teaser trailer, this is for the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man that the friendly neighborhood hero is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Superhero. Mysterio outs Peter Parker as Spider-Man, turning him into Public Enemy Number 1.

The teaser shows how public perception of Spider-Man changes and he is soon brought under scrutiny, which in turn hurts those closest to him, including MJ, his best friend Ned and Aunt May.

The youngest of the Avengers seeks Doctor Strange for help and the stakes become even more dangerous, when multiverses collide as he tries leading a dual life, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be the Spider-Man.

The film sees Tom Holland reprise his role as Spider-Man, while Zendaya is seen in the role of MJ. The film will also have appearances from Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds and Marisa Tomei as Aunt May.

This is the third consecutive Spider-man film directed by Jon Watts and will have a theatrical release on december 17, right around Christmas.
