State Mourning Today: US embassy to fly flag at half-mast today

The flag of US embassy in Dhaka will be flown at half-mast today, the embassy said yesterday referring to an order issued by US Ambassador Peter Haas.

Bangladesh today is observing state mourning for the Palestinians killed in the recent attacks by Israeli forces in different areas of Palestine, including Gaza.

“We mourn civilians of every faith and every nationality who have been killed in the conflict,” said the US embassy, quoting US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
