The Stranger Things season 4 finale is here, and it is one helluva ride that we are in for. To quickly run you through what has happened as for the Stranger Things 4 story is concerned, there’s a group of Hawkins kids who now know about Vecna, and on the other hand, there are attempts being made to bring Eleven home by Mike and Will. Joyce and Murray, on the other hand, finally reunite with Hopper.
And now, Mike, Will, Jonathan, along with Argylle have Susie helping them find out Eleven. Nancy, Steve, Robin, and Eddie, on the other hand, have found the gate out of Upside Down with help from Dustin, Max, Lucas, and Erica. However, Nancy happens to fall under Vecna’s trap given the guilt she is dealing with over Barb’s death. And now, Eleven knows all about Vecna aka Henry aka Number One as a result of Dr. Brenner’s experiments.
That was a quick wrap, and what follows ahead, is nothing but mighty crazy!
As a show, Stranger Things has always managed to have impeccable writing, but everything leading up to this finale is what has managed to make this watch only better. All the Stranger Things 4 fan theories that we’ve spoken about, it is time to see which ones are coming true! Who knew we could enjoy a finale season with two episodes, each as long as a feature film? Interestingly, the 8th episode is what is mostly about the build up, eventually leading up to the finale episode of this season ‘Chapter Nine: The Piggyback’. Before that, we know everything that is going on a little better and the 8th episode also gives us a short but much awaited face off between El and Papa (we’ll save you the spoilers).
Even with so much happening, another beautiful thing about this Netflix series is how the everyone manages to find their tender and emotional moments even with all the chaos, and of course, some funny moments too. Argyle, who might have become too annoying too soon, every lame joke and every emotional dialogue, serves a purpose.
Having said that, it is almost nerve wrecking to sit there and watch the episodes pass by, as you wonder what is going to happen next! Not to forget, there’s this absolute fear of you don’t know what might happen next.
