A couple of months back, Ray Fisher, who plays Cyborg in the DC Extended Universe had accused filmmaker Joss Whedon of being “gross, abusive, unprofessional” on the sets of Justice League reshoots. For those unaware, after Zack Snyder had left the film due to personal issues, Warner Bros had roped in The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron director Joss Whedon to complete the remainder of Justice League.
Whedon had ended up reshooting around half of the film. Upon its release the movie was trashed by film critics and bombed at the box office. After Ray Fisher had accused the filmmaker of ill-treatment on the sets of the film’s reshoots.
Warner Bros had kicked-off the internal investigation about the accusations made by Ray Fisher and had recently slammed the Cyborg actor alleging that he was not cooperating in the investigation.
After Ray Fisher had made the allegations, none of his Justice League co-stars had reacted to it. However, in recent times, Jason Momoa did showed support when he posted a story on his Instagram with the hashtag, #IStandWithRayFisher.
Now, he has taken to Instagram again and has openly admitted to the misconduct on the sets of Justice League reshoots. He said that they treated in a “s#*tty” way. Sharing a picture with Ray Fisher from the comic-con, Momoa posted, “THIS S#IT HAS TO STOP AND NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT @ray8fisher AND EVERYONE ELSE WHO EXPERIENCED WHAT HAPPEN UNDER THE WATCH OF @wbpictures NEEDS PROPER INVESTIGATION I just think it’s fu*ked up that people released a fake Frosty announcement without my permission to try to distract from Ray Fisher speaking up about the $#itty way we were treated on Justice League reshoots.
Serious stuff went down. It needs to be investigated and people need to be held accountable. #IStandWithRayFisher. aloha j”.
Jason Momoa will be seen as Aquaman next year in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. The movie is slated to release on HBO Max.
