Tamannaah Bhatia admitted to a private hospital after testing positive for coronavirus?

Actress Tamannaah Bhatia, who predominantly works in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi film industries, has reportedly tested positive for coronavirus and as per reports, she has been admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad for treatment. The actress was shooting in Hyderabad for a web series when she reportedly started showing symptoms of COVID-19. The actress has not confirmed the same, as of now.
Back in August, Tamannaah’s parents tested positive for COVID-19. In a Twitter post, she had shared that her parents were showing mild COVID-19 symptoms post which they got tested and the results came out positive. As a precautionary measure, everyone at the actress’ home underwent tests immediately. And back then she had tested negative for the virus.
And now as per a report by TV9 Telugu, Tamannaah has contracted the deadly virus. And she is undergoing tests and treatments in Hyderabad’s private hospital. COVID-19 has claimed over 1 million lives across the globe and over 34 million people have tested positive for the virus.
After months-long shutdown, the shootings of films and TV shows resumed in the unlock phase with new security guidelines in place. New episodes of TV shows started dropping on our small screens while several films took the OTT route and got a digital release as theatres were shut for nearly six months. As per the latest guidelines, theatres will be reopening with restrictions from October 15.
Coming to Tamannah’s work front, the actress was last seen in Sarileru Neekevvaru‘s song Daang Daang. Next, she will feature in Telugu film That Is Mahalakshmi. The film is being produced by Manu Kumaran and bankrolled by Taizoon Khorakiwala. That Is Mahalakshmi is a remake of the 2014 film Queen, which starred Kangana Ranaut. The film also features Shibani Dandekar, Roopa Lakshmi, Samarth Ashok Hegde, Geetanjali and CVL Narasimha Rao in supporting roles.
