The journey of ‘Shape the Future World’ begins
On Sunday, 3rd November 2024, at 6 pm, a special meeting was held in Drummond Street to form a global youth welfare organisation based in London at the call of community activist Jamal Ahmed.
The aims and objectives of the organization were discussed in order to build an international social movement aimed at youth development in developing countries and the UK.
Speakers included London’s respected community activists M A Muhith, Jalal Ahmed, Shahid Ahmed, Haji M. A Salim, Mujibur Rahman, Md. Ahsan Uddin, Teacher and Youth Leader Mr. Abshir Mohammad, Structural Engineer Mr. Tawfiq Islam, Mr. Sayem Ahmed, M Arham Matthew.
Prominent community activist Mr. Luca Salice presided over the meeting which was moderated by former Tower Hamlets Councillor Mr. Wais Islam. A committee of eleven members was formed with Jamal Ahmed as the chief co-ordinator.
The next meeting has been agreed with future action plans on the agenda. The meeting was concluded by thanking everyone for attending and their valuable participation and contribution
