Tight security for X-mas Day

Tight security measures have been clamp down across the country for peaceful and smooth celebration of the Christmas Day, commemorating the birthday of Jesus Christ.

“Law enforcement agencies have been asked to remain alert and ensure all possible security to ensure peaceful and smooth celebration of the Christmas Day,” said Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan.

Talking about security arrangement ahead of Christmas Day, he also said, “Arch ways will be installed in each of the 68 churches in the DMP areas and none will be allowed to enter the venues without search and metal detector will be used in this endeavor.”

“Uninterrupted power supply will be ensured at each of the churches alongside with deploying fire tender and ambulance while no temporary shops will be allowed in the church areas to ensure foolproof security,” he continued.

“Use of firecrackers and carry of bags, trolley bags and bag packs will be completely prohibited,” he added.

The DMP commissioner requested all to be remained alert as none can carry out any subversive acts taking the advantages of the day.
