Trade license will be cancelled if anyone violates rules: Atiq

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Atiqul Islam has said trade licenses of shops owners will be cancelled if they violate the strict lockdown restrictions.

“Shop owners are allowed for opening shops for people during the lockdown. But the time has been fixed by the government. If they violate the government rules, the City Corporation will cancel their trade licenses.”

The DNCC mayor told this to media while visiting Bijoy Sarani area in the capital on Monday.

He said, “If anyone needs foods, he or she can call 333. Then the City Corporation team will reach the ordered foods.”

Stern action will be taken against those who will break the order, mayor Atiqul said.
