Udit Narayan talks about Aditya and Shweta Agarwal’s wedding

The past few days were happy days for the Narayan family. Veteran singer Udit Narayan’s son, singer Aditya Narayan tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Shweta Agarwal on December 1. The wedding took place in Mumbai at a temple with only close friends and family members in attendance. On December 2, the Narayan family hosted a wedding reception and it was a grand affair with a few industry friends in attendance. Recently, Udit Narayan talked about Aditya and Shweta’s wedding and shared that it was time for them to make things “official.”

Earlier, Udit had shared that he was not aware of Aditya and Shweta’s relationship and only thought they were just friends. Now, Udit shared that Aditya was in a live-in relationship with Shweta for the last 10 years. The veteran singer also talked about inviting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amitabh Bachchan to Aditya’s wedding and their response to the same.

Udit, while interacting with Bollywood Hungama shared, “I have just one son. I wanted his marriage to be much more lavish. But the Covid has taken the joy away from all celebrations. In fact, I wanted my son to wait until this pandemic was over before getting married. But Shweta’s family and Aditya were keen that they get married now. My son and Shweta were in a live-in relationship for 10 years. I guess it was time for them to make it official.”
