Valimai worldwide box office: Thala Ajith-starrer continues its rampage, enters Rs 100 crore club in just 3 days

Thala Ajith starrer Valimai, which released last Thursday has been on a record-breaking spree. Despite hitting the screens on a normal working day, it took a record start and turned out to be the biggest opener in the state of Tamil Nadu.

And now, the film has achieved another milestone as it entered the Rs 100 crore at the global box office. Since today is a Sunday holiday, Valimai will again score big at the ticket windows. In fact, a trade expert has tweeted that the film will comfortably cross the Rs 200 crore mark at the box office.

“Valimai has had a fabulous start at the box-office, despite releasing on a Thursday. It has clocked Rs. 100 crore in just three days and going by the response, the film will comfortably collect over Rs. 200 crore during its theatrical run,” trade analyst Trinath told Hindustan Times.

Talking about Valimai, the film also stars Huma Qureshi, Kartikeya, Bani, Sumithra, Achyunth Kumar, Yogi Babu, Raj Ayyappa, Pugazh and others. The film features Thala Ajith as a cop taking up against the rogue biker (Kartikeya) and his gang. The film is co-produced by Zee Studios and also released in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada dubbed languages.
