Web shows that didn’t create much buzz but are worth a watch

The year 2020 saw OTT platforms ruling in terms of providing entertainment as theatres were shutdown due to coronavirus pandemic.

The year saw a lot of highly successful web shows like Mirzapur season 2, Aashram season 1 and season 2, Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story, Paatal Lok, Special Ops etc.

However, there were some shows that flew under the radar but were quite interesting to watch. These shows didn’t create much hype upon their release but those who watched it realised it was worth every second they spent watching it.

Undekhi 

Undekhi review: A web series that ticks all the boxes of a good crime  thriller | Entertainment News,The Indian Express

Undekhi featured an interesting ensemble of actors and an intriguing plot. The show stars Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Harsh Chhaya, Surya Sharma and Anchal Singh among others. It received positive reviews but deseves more love than it got. The show is streaming on SonyLIV.

The Gone Game

Starring Akshay Oberoi, Ranvir Shorey and Shweta Basu Prasad, High will keep you on the edge of your seat. The show is streaming on MX Player.

Starring Abhay Deol, Pankaj Kapur, Piyush Mishra and Rajesh Sharma, JL50 is perhaps the best film/show on time travel in Bollywood. JL50 was initially planned as a film but eventually released as a four-part web series. There are quite a few things that are wrong with JL50 but still this sci-fi deserves all your attention and appreciation. JL50 is streamin on SonyLIV.
